If you've attended one of these programs, please let us know what you thought about the quality of the program. Not so much in terms of resume value, but with regards to the teaching quality, interesting subject matter, student engagement, etc. I've seen these mentioned in passing on the forums in a list of ECs, but not a review of the program itself.

LBW vs. SSHI
I was admitted to LBW, but I also applied to the Stanford Summer Humanities Institute (SSHI). These two camps conflict, so I was wondering which one would be better / more prestigious if I were aiming for a T-10 majoring in Economics. I’ve heard LBW is harder to get into, but Stanford is probably higher than UPenn on my college list. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

How to get into the New Jersey Scholar Program
Hi! So my school is doing the New Jersey Scholar Program, and I was just wondering about my own chances if I was chosen. I have a decent GPA (99.894 the last time I checked), and I have seven leadership positions (Highest one being Vice-president for my Latin club, and having a state position in a latin-related organization.) Did around 60+ hours of community service, and have many awards also pertaining to latin. (Such as a gold medal on the National exam and Bronze on the Roman Civilzation Exam).
I'm just a bit curious and everything becuase I rather have my hopes and dreams crushed now, rather than later. Do you think I would have a chance to get in?

pre-college summer progams: ideas for a shy rising senior?
We are looking for a pre-college program for a shy rising senior with an Asperger's type of profile. He has experience being away from home, but he would benefit from being part of a college-like atmosphere. I would love to find a small, welcoming program with enough structure that kids can't spend too much time in their rooms. Academic classes would be okay if they are relatively low-key, but even just electives would be fine. We are in the Northeast but would consider programs that are further away. Any suggestions? Quarterzero / Catapult Incubator - 2020
My son (sophomore) applied to couple of programs for summer 2020 - Quarterzero / Catapult Incubator, and Wharton LBW. He just got accepted to the Q0 Incubator but he is not sure how it stacks up to Wharton LBW. Any thoughts from others who have done Q0 recently or those that were accepted to both and selected one over another ?

HSHSP v. Mathcamp USA/Canada
I've applied to both HSHSP and MathCamp USA and think I have a decent chance of getting into both. I know that HSHSP has admission decisions posted around May 1st while Mathcamp's are in mid-April. If I were to get accepting into Mathcamp, should I secure my spot and attend there or try for HSHSP? I'm a rising junior by the way.

"High School Diplomats (HSD) is a scholarship program that brings together high school students from the United States and Japan each summer through two parallel experiences. HSD U.S. provides the opportunity for American and Japanese students to meet at Princeton University for ten days of cultural exchange. HSD Japan allows American students who have successfully completed HSD U.S. to apply for a full scholarship to travel to Japan for a month the following summer."
