Hello! I'm going to be starting latin 2 online this summer on flvs. I've been trying to find information on it, and if it'll be a decent class, but I cant find any. I'm finishing latin 1 this school year, and starting up 2 the first day of summer. I think I'll be able to finish, I'd just like any kind of information I can get on it.

Dual Enrollment, High School GPA, and Tips.
I finished a semester of dual enrollment at my local college, and my high school report card only shows my high school classes. Aren't grades from DE classes suppose to go to your HS GPA? It's one of the main reasons why I'm taking the college course in the first place and the subjects my HS are making me take do not appeal to me (psychology and sociology). On that note, is there even a point in doing DE if the classes you take don't apply to your preferred major?
It's very sad because my school only offers 2 AP's this year. Last year I took AP Biology, which was new at the time, and only two people passed. This year, the new AP English is exclusive to the seniors. That's just how behind my school is.

Free summer programs that are still open
I was wondering if there are still summer programs that have their applications still open. I'm pretty desperate; all the ones I see are closed, and the one I applied to earlier (Bovard Scholars) seems too selective. My HS is really behind ( 2 AP's) and I'm a low income student so I'm majorly disadvantaged, so I really need a program to help my academics and financial aid.

Hi,
I'm applying for a summer camp as a rising junior. I'm a STEM person, and I want to pursue a business/technology/science camp during the summer at a college.
My question is, will camps like MITES at MIT, M&TSI/LEAD at Wharton, or HSHP at Michigan State help with college admissions?

SuMAC Time Commitment?
Hi,
I'm a current freshman considering applying to SuMAC for summer 2020, the summer after my sophomore year. I have an A+ in Precalculus right now and will be taking AP Calc BC next year as a sophomore.
I have also been considering taking Multivariable Differential Calculus online at ULO during that summer (https://ulo.stanford.edu/mathematics). Because of this, I was wondering if any previous SuMAC students could give me an idea of how much free time there would be during the session, as the online class would be for the whole summer and takes about 8-12 hours a week. Would I have time to do it and SuMAC at the same time?

Stevens Inst. of Tech summer engineering -- any info?
Hi all,
Anyone know how competitive this is? My S21 applied by the priority deadline. His teachers have been slow to do his recs, however, so I'm not sure he'll actually get priority consideration.
He didn't submit any test scores, but has excellent grades. Some engineering ECs but nothing major/unique. No hooks except we're from the South which might make a diff?
Just wondering if anyone knows much about what to expect in terms of getting in, and/or what you know about the program and its quality, etc. We applied based on CC input from another forum. Main interest for attending is helping him decide if he wants to really do engineering.
