Can I have advice on which summer programs I should apply to?

Hello, I am currently a junior and I am planning to apply to precolleges for the summer. I only want to apply to three because of money and because of the hassle of applying and getting recommendations. The precollege programs I am considering are below. Please let me know which ones are the most rewarding and also which ones have a good acceptance rate.

Carnegie Mellon Summer Academy for Math and Science
Yale Young Global Scholars
Duke University Summer Academy
NYU Precollege for Science courses
Summer@Brown

I am a current first year student at a prestigious university. To graduate with an engineering degree I need to take a ton of general elective classes. I was hoping to take some of these online this summer and transfer the credit over. However, most of the typical classes from well known online programs (NAU, UoP, etc) are well over 1,000$. I don't care much about the quality of the class but I was wondering if there was any that I can enroll in for less than 1,000$ (Hopefully near 500$). Obviously, I would check with my university first to make sure it would count, but any suggestions or recommendations about potential online courses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

1. Has anyone heard about the International Economics Competition (IEO)? Is it as valuable or prestigious as IMO, IPO, or ICO? Looks like it’s a pretty new competition with a strong Russian background, is it worth joining? How does it compare to other econ competitions like the NEC? How about compared to different Summer Programs like LBW and SSHI for T10 colleges?

2. If my goal is T10, how would you rank these Summer Programs in terms of prestige? Assuming I am a social science/econ/business major: TASP, LBW, LEAD, SSHI, YYGS

Hello!

I recently got into both of the summer programs I applied to: USC Exploring Entrepreneurship and UPenn Wharton Essentials of Entrepreneurship.
As you can tell, I'm interested in business, specifically entrepreneurship, and will be applying to colleges this upcoming fall mainly with business majors.
Their course dates overlap, so I'm having trouble deciding which one to attend. I'm leaning towards USC, since it's closer to home and I like the school. But, I've never visited UPenn, so I'm not sure...
Any suggestions? Or even personal experience at either of the summer programs?

Hi all,

I'm a current 8th grader looking for a summer program for 2020. I know that there are fewer programs for younger students, but any suggestions would be appreciated!

Some pertinent information--

I will be 14 in summer 2020.
I'm looking for either a residential program or one in the Bay Area (Cali).
I currently attend a public MS, and am applying to prep schools for high schools. Decisions will come in March. If I am not accepted into a prep school, I will attend my local public school.
My main interests are in humanities, particularly politics/public service.
